Respect and tradition are important in a wedding, but so is a feeling that the wedding ceremony reflects who you really are.  You may want a spiritual wedding ceremony, or a wedding that isn't religious at all, or you may want a wedding ceremony that honors the traditions of your family, yet isn't stuffy and has more of a feeling of celebration to it.  Each couple is completely different and many couples want a more personalized wedding ceremony that is written and coordinated according to their wishes.  In addition, many couples would like some help putting it all together and making it run smoothly.

In the past, a couple may have come from the same small town or city and have attended the same church. The couples knew the other family and they all knew the same minister. Therefore the ceremonies were always the same, performed by the same minister in the same church using the same ceremony that they have been using for years.  

But in today's world, a bride and groom's circumstances are often very different.  A couple may come from diverse backgrounds and the couple may even be very different from their own parents.  Many couples want a wedding that is meaningful, special, and reflects who they are and what they would like to say.  Yet often they would like their wedding ceremony to make their loved ones very happy, as well.  How does one achieve this goal?

Depending on your circumstances and wishes, planning your wedding ceremony may be more involved than planning a wedding in the past.

Creating and coordinating a wedding ceremony that reflects your true feelings and wishes, yet respects the background and traditions of your families, may take an officiant with a lot of sensitivity and tact.

• Most couples who come to me say that they want to be just as happy with their wedding ceremony as their family, friends, and loved ones, but there are different religious faiths involved, or different cultural aspects that need to be addressed and handled carefully so as not to upset anyone.

• Most couples really want their wedding rehearsal, the wedding ceremony, and the days leading up to their big weekend be run in a manner that respects everyone's wishes (but ultimately, they want the bride and groom's wishes to be respected as paramount)

Your wishes will always be respected. 

• On your wedding weekend, you can always direct all questions from your Guests and relatives to us, so you don't have to handle everything
